AUDIO: Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s full set at Bridge School Benefit

Over the weekend, Neil Young hosted the 26th Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert.

The acoustic-based event raises funds for the Bridge School, a facility that develops and uses advanced technologies to aid in the instruction of children with disabilities; it was founded in 1986 by Pegi Young and Jim Forderer with help from Dr. Marilyn Buzolich. The first benefit concert, in 1986, raised the money necessary to start the school, which opened in ’87.

Among the other acts joining Neil on the bill were Guns N’ Roses, Jack White, The Flaming Lips, Sarah McLachlan and k.d. Lang.

Audio of Neil and Crazy Horse’s full set from Saturday, the first of the two-day, weekend event, has surfaced.

Neil and the band played through an 8-song set before closing the night with an all-cast version (with the exception of Axl Rose) of his 1989 classic, “Rockin’ In The Free World.”

Young featured tracks from his forthcoming album, “Psychedelic Pill,” which will be released on October 30.
