Two original members of Guns N’ Roses are teaming up for a Japanese tour.
Concert promoter Creativeman Productions Co. Ltd has announced that Duff McKagan’s Loaded and Adler’s Appetite – led by drummer Steven Adler – will play a series of dates in the spring of 2013.
The promoter currently lists two concerts at the Duo Music Exchange in Tokyo, scheduled for March 7 and 8.
The on sale date for tickets is to be announced.
McKagan and Adler teamed up this past spring at Guns N’ Roses' induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
GNR’s original lineup – McKagan, Adler, Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Matt Sorum and Dizzy Reed - were honored as part of the Class Of 2012.
Slash, Duff, Steven, Matt and non-honoree Gilby Clarke were joined by singer Myles Kennedy on stage to perform three "Appetite For Destruction" songs: "Mr. Brownstone", "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Paradise City", with "Use Your Illusion"-era member Sorum sitting behind the drum kit on "Brownstone" and the man he replaced, Adler, rocking the drums for the last two songs.
