VIDEO: Led Zeppelin - Jimmy Page interviewed on Jools Holland

Led Zeppelin continue to promote next Tuesday’s release of their new live package, “Celebration Day.”

The project captures the reunited band in concert at London’s O2 Arena on December 10, 2007, when they headlined a tribute concert for dear friend and Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun.

What followed was a two-hour-plus tour de force of the band’s signature blues-infused rock ’n’ roll that instantly became part of the legend of Led Zeppelin.

This week, Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page was a featured interview guest on the BBC’s Later with Jool Holland.

On the topic of future Zeppelin shows, Jimmy replied, “Well look, we’re almost five years after the 02 concert and, I must say, I thought there might be some other sort of get together for some reason or another, but as the years tick by…it doesn’t look very likely, does it. But it’s all there [on Celebration Day].”

Zeppelin posted a photo (above) of Jimmy with the other participants on Tuesday night’s BBC program, including Foals, Band of Horses, Ellie Goulding Larry Graham, Rodrigues and Luisa Sobral.

An extended version Later with Jools Holland will air on BBC2 on Friday at 11:30 p.m.
