Metallica have announced their return to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on April 19 for a headlining performance at the du Arena, Yas Island.
Tickets are now on sale for the event.
The band’s first show in the city was in October 2011 — a gig that scored the Best Music Event award at the Best In Abu Dhabi 2012.
Up next for Metallica, the group will headline the Soundwave festival in Australia, which kicks off February 23 in Brisbane; the event will play 5 dates across the country through March 4.
The Abu Dhabi date will then be followed by two shows in South Africa in April.
Metallica recently revealed plans for the second annual Orion Music + More Festival.
The event will be held on June 8th and 9th in Detroit, MI; more news, including artist lineup and ticket details, will be revealed in February.
