CBS have released a video preview of Black Sabbath’s upcoming appearance on the season finale of CSI: Crime Secene Investigation.
The band will share a scene with D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) when he and Conrad Ecklie (Marc Vann) attend a Black Sabbath show as the CSI team investigates a trail of murders with horrifying similarities to the sins in "Dante's Inferno."
"It's my first Black Sabbath concert, how cool is that?", says Danson.
"I'm not an actor,” says Ozzy Osbourne. “When you see it on TV it's all done, but when you're filming there's a lot of stuff going on. It's been a long time but the wait has been well worth it and I'm really pleased with the outcome. It's good fun and it's a good way of telling people that we're back together, you know?"
Bassist Geezer Butler is a fan of the show: "I've watched every episode since it started, 'cause I like crime stuff, and it was realistic."
On the season finale, Sabbath will world premiere a song called "End Of The Beginning" from their upcoming album "13," due June 11.
The CSI season finale will air Wednesday, May 15 (10:00-11:00PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
