VIDEO: Iron Maiden drummer celebrates 61st birthday on stage in Paris

Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain celebrated his 61st birthday on stage in Paris Wednesday night.

Singer Bruce Dickinson introduced Nicko before fans sang “Happy Birthday” to the drummer.

McBrain’s family has been making headlines in the past few months.

In April, Nicko’s son, Justin, was arrested in Florida for allegedly burglarizing an occupied dwelling and 2nd degree petty theft; read more about it here.

Nicko’s wife, Rebecca, was arrested and charged with battery on February 24th after she allegedly tried to stab a man in her home with a decorative lance; read more about it here.

Maiden’s show in Paris is part of the recently-launched European leg of their “Maiden England” tour, a continuation of the trek which played across North America last year.

The stage show closely mirrors, in terms of production and content, the original 1988 concert video of the same name – reissued on DVD this year - shot on the “Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" tour.
