Pilot, entrepreneur and Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has been announced at as the keynote speaker at the National Leadership Summit, set for October 22 at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.
National Leadership Summit is described as a one-day intensive forum devoted to exchanging ideas about how senior executives can engage in passionate and creative leadership for innovation, survival and growth — whether in the private, public or non-profit sectors.
Bruce left Iron Maiden in 1993 in order to pursue a solo career, his passion for fencing and an interest in becoming a pilot. Dickinson rejoined the band in 1999 and has gone on to release four albums; despite this, he hasn't stopped flying Boeing 757s.
In the spring of 2012, Dickinson and partner Mario Fulgoni launched Cardiff Aviation as a major commercial airline maintenance repair and overhaul operation in South Wales. The company is based at the Twin Peaks hangar at St. Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan.
At the National Leadership Summit, Dickinson will speak on his projects while tying it in with business start-up, entrepreneurship and business creativity. As well as talking about the parallels between his music and business careers, Bruce is also able to deliver team building experiences focused around his flight simulator.
