Lynyrd Skynyrd to release live vinyl EP on Black Friday



Lynyrd Skynyrd are teaming up with Atlanta rockers Blackberry Smoke to release a split, live vinyl EP on Black Friday, November 29.

Skynyrd are issuing three classic tunes – “What’s Your Name”, “That Smell” and “Simple Man” – from their June 2012 set at the Sweden Rock Festival (watch fan-shot video of “Simple Man” below).

Blackberry Smoke are releasing three tracks from an April 2013 concert in North Carolina.

Currently touring in support of their latest album, “Last Of A Dyin’ Breed”, Lynyrd Skynyrd recently announced their first-ever concert dates in Australia.

The band will play The Plenary in Melbourne on February 11 and the Sydney Entertainment Centre in Sydney on February 13.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will follow the Australian shows with three dates in New Zealand in February.

Joining the Southern rock legends in New Zealand will be Starship and 10cc, as the tour hits Taupo, North Auckland, and Queenstown.
