VIDEO: KISS kick off Japanese tour

KISS kicked off their Monster Japanese tour before a sold-out crowd at the Messe Arena in Tokyo on Saturday, and the band have posted video from the event.

The group are sharing footage of “Psycho Circus” and “Shout It Out Loud” from the concert.

The four-date tour will see KISS perform in Osaka on Monday, and then play two shows at the Budokan on Wednesday and Thursday of next week.

The band’s October 24th show at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo will be broadcast on pay-per-view via Japan's TV WOWOW that same night.

KISS were among the nominees announced this past Wednesday for the 2014 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

Rolling Stone revealed the full list, which also includes Deep Purple, Yes, Nirvana, Hall & Oates, The Replacements, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Chic, Peter Gabriel, LL Cool J, N.W.A., Link Wray, the Meters, Linda Ronstadt, Cat Stevens, and the Zombies.

The public has the opportunity to vote for the five nominees they believe to be most deserving of induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The top five artists, as selected by the public, will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2014 inductees, who will be announced soon.

In order to be eligible for this year's ballot, artists or bands need to have released their first single or album in 1988 or earlier.
