KISS’ performance at Tokyo’s legendary Budokan on October 24 was broadcast in Japan on pay-per-view, and video of the full show has surfaced.
The appearance was the second of two nights at the venue for the band, and one of four shows on a Japanese tour in support of their current album, “Monster.”
KISS were among the nominees announced recently for the 2014 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
Rolling Stone revealed the full list, which also includes Deep Purple, Yes, Nirvana, Hall & Oates, The Replacements, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Chic, Peter Gabriel, LL Cool J, N.W.A., Link Wray, the Meters, Linda Ronstadt, Cat Stevens, and the Zombies.
The public has the opportunity to vote for the five nominees they believe to be most deserving of induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The top five artists, as selected by the public, will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2014 inductees, who will be announced soon.
