Motley Crue singer confirms meeting with Celebrity Apprentice producers

In a new interview with Fox 5 TV in Las Vegas, Motley Crue singer Vince Neil confirms that he met with the producers of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice about appearing on the series.

“I met with 'The Celebrity Apprentice', I went down to NBC and met with the producers and the network and stuff,” explains Neil. “And they figure, everything's great, they don't wanna announce anything, but… That's all I ever said — that I'm up for it. And then there's some reporters in this town who, their journalism isn't very good, and they just kind of jump to conclusions and write, basically, lies. So I never said I was going to be on it. I said I'm up for it."

Norm Clarke at the Las Vegas Review-Journal recently reported that Neil has been telling friends he will appear on the show’s upcoming season – read more details here.

Last week, Neil denied the report via Twitter – read what he posted here.

If the Crue frontman were to join the series, Vince would be follow in the footsteps of other rockers who have appeared on the series, including Poison’s Bret Michaels, Meat Loaf and Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider.

Vince and Motley Crue recently wrapped up their second Las Vegas residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where they played an exclusive 12-show run from September 18 through October 6.
