Bruce Springsteen’s new album, “High Hopes”, was leaked two weeks ahead of schedule by Amazon before the online retailer removed the project from its site.
Billboard reports “High Hopes” could be found Saturday on Amazon's mobile website as individual mp3 files before it was pulled.
Since then, the album has become available through file-sharing websites by those who purchased the album from the retailer.
Due January 14, “High Hopes” was recorded in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Australia and New York City, with the bulk of the tracks produced by Ron Aniello and Springsteen, some by Brendan O’Brien, and the rest a combination of the three together.
Following the album’s release in January, Springsteen will perform in South Africa for the very first time before kicking off a month-long tour of Australia and New Zealand in Perth on February 5.
