Dave Grohl to join Queens Of The Stone Age for Grammys finale


Dave Grohl will join Queens Of The Stone Age, Nince Inch Nails and Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham to perform the finale at the 56th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Grohl has nominations for Best Rock Song for "Cut Me Some Slack" (along with Paul McCartney, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear) and Best Compilation Soundtrack For
Visual Media for “Sound City: Real To Reel.”

Queens Of The Stone Age are up for Best Rock Performance for "My God Is The Sun" and Best Rock Album for “…Like Clockwork”, while Nine Inch Nails are nominated for Best Alternative Music Album for “Hesitation Marks.”

Grohl plays on the latest Queens album and he also appeared on their third release, 2002’s “Songs For The Deaf”; the head Foo Fighter and Queens frontman Josh Homme were together in the band Them Crooked Vultures.

Last week, the Foo Fighters revealed that they are in the studio recording their eighth album.
