VIDEO: Gene Simmons makes surprise appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show

KISS bassist Gene Simmons made a surprise appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show during the comedian's opening monologue on Friday, and video from the program is available.

Simmons arrived following Hall’s segment, “Black People Don’t Give A Damn”, which focused on the first outdoor NHL game in Los Angeles, set for today at Dodger Stadium.

KISS will perform at the event, which will see the Los Angeles Kings host the Anaheim Ducks as part of the NHL’s Stadium Series.

KISS will play during the pre-game festivities and first intermission of the game, which will be broadcast live at 6:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN in the U.S. and on CBC and RDS2 in Canada.

KISS were recently confirmed as one of the inductees into the 2014 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, along with Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt.

The induction ceremony will be held at New York’s Barclays Center on April 10th, 2014; HBO will record the event for broadcast in May.
