Neil Young to publish second memoir

Neil Young will publish a second memoir this fall.

Billboard reports the follow-up to 2012’s “Waging Heavy Peace” will focus on Young’s passion for cars, while also featuring stories about his life in music.

Blue Rider Press will publish the currently untitled bookl, which will also include artwork by Young and his thoughts on politics and the environment.

This spring, Young will release a new album, “A Letter Home.”

The project will be issued by Jack White’s label, Third Man Records, which describes it as “an unheard collection of rediscovered songs from the past recorded on ancient electro-mechanical technology captures and unleashes the essence of something that could have been gone forever.”

Last month, Young described “A Letter Home” as “one of the lowest-tech experiences I've ever had”, and that it would be available in March.
