Guns N’ Roses: Appetite For Democracy coming to theaters and DVD



Guns N’ Roses will debut their 3D concert film, "Appetite For Democracy", in theaters worldwide next month in advance of its release in multiple formats.

The band was captured during their 2012 residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino' in Las Vegas, as they marked the 25th anniversary of their debut, “Appetite For Destruction.”

Directed by Kerry Asmussen and produced by Barry Summers, the project marks the first live concert release from Guns N’ Roses since 1992’s "Use Your Illusion II."

Following its theatrical debut, “Appetite Of Democracy” will be released (date TBA) in four formats: a standard Amaray DVD, a 3D Blu-ray DVD, a Deluxe 2CD+DVD set and digital long form.

The DVD and Blu-ray components both feature the full show, along with band interviews plus a 3D photo gallery, both with 5.1 surround and stereo audio.

The film’s theatrical release is in sync with Guns N’ Roses’ second Las Vegas residency, "No Trickery! An Evening Of Destruction", which sees the band return to The Joint for a total of nine shows between May 21 and June 7.

Guns N’ Roses will kick off their 2014 live dates with a March 16 headlining date at the Hell & Heaven Metal Festival in Feria De Texcoco, Mexico, followed by a tour of South America.
