Neil Young adds dates to spring tour

Neil Young continues to roll out dates as part of a spring mini-tour of the U.S.

Young will play two shows at the Chicago Theatre in Chicago, Illinois on April 21st and 22nd.

Pre-sale started Wednesday, March 19th at 10am EST, while the public on-sale starts on Saturday, March 22nd at 12pm EST.

The Chicago dates follow on the heels of previously-announced run in Hollywood – where Neil will play four shows – and a pair of concerts in Dallas next month.

This spring, Young will release a new album, “A Letter Home.”

The project will be issued by Jack White’s label, Third Man Records, which describes it as “an unheard collection of rediscovered songs from the past recorded on ancient electro-mechanical technology captures and unleashes the essence of something that could have been gone forever.”

Young has described “A Letter Home” as “one of the lowest-tech experiences I've ever had.”

The album was recorded in White’s 1940’s Voice-o-Graph recording booth, which has the ability to record tracks straight to vinyl.
