Rolling Stones cancel concert following death of L’Wren Scott

The Rolling Stones have canceled the first concert of their Australian tour following the sudden death of Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott on Monday.

The band issued a statement advising ticket holders for Wednesday’s show at the Perth Arena to hold on to their tickets until a further update is available.

Scott was found dead of an apparent suicide in her New York apartment early Monday morning.

New York police sources say Wren’s body was discovered hanging from a scarf tied to a doorknob in her apartment on 11th Avenue at around 10 a.m. Monday.
