Robert Plant and Steve Winwood team up at UK charity show

Robert Plant teamed up with Steve Winwood to perform at a UK charity show at a church in Northleach on Friday night, and video from the event has surfaced.

The Birmingham Mail reports the show at St Peter & St Paul in Northleach was to raise money for The Children’s Society, Christian Aid and Open Door.

Plant performed a few songs, including “Satan Your Kingdom Must Come Down” and “Wade In The Water”, and was joined by Winwood to share vocals on “Nobody’s Fault But Mine” and with others on “Twelve Gates To The City.”

Robert Plant Presents The Sensational Space Shifters will launch a summer tour at the Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morrocco on June 5, with shows running into August.

The 3-month trek will support a new album by Plant and the band, which he said in December was “almost complete.”
