Slash comments on Duff McKagan rejoining Guns N’ Roses

Former Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan has rejoined the band for five shows in South America this month, and Slash says he has no problems with the mini-reunion.

"What Duff does is what Duff does. It doesn't really concern me,” Slash tells Team Rock. "Duff's relationship with Axl [Rose] is different to mine. That call to me is just not going to happen."

"I don't judge Duff,” added the guitarist. “He's cool. He just has a way more amicable, neutral relationship with Axl than I do."

McKagan rejoined GNR as a fill-in for Tommy Stinson, who has obligations to play previously scheduled dates with The Replacements this month.

This past Sunday, McKagan played his first full show with the band in 17 years in Buenos Aires, Argentina – check out video from the event here.

Slash has been busy in the studio recording the follow-up to 2012’s “Apocalyptic Love”, and is scheduled to play a newly-announced tour of North America this summer with Aerosmith.
