Axl Rose shares update on new Guns N’ Roses music

Axl Rose is sharing an update on new music by Guns N’ Roses.

"We recorded a lot of things before [2008’s] 'Chinese' [Democracy] was out," Axl tells Revolver magazine. "We've worked more on some of those things and we've written a few new things. But basically, we have what I call kind of the second half of 'Chinese'. That's already recorded. And then we have a remix album made of the songs from 'Chinese'. That's been done for a while, too. But after Vegas, we're going to start looking very seriously at what we're doing in that regard."

Guns N’ Roses are currently in the middle of their second Las Vegas residency.

"No Trickery! An Evening Of Destruction", at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, sees the band perform a total of nine shows between May 21 and June 7.

Fans looking for new Guns N’ Roses product will be able to pick up "Appetite For Democracy 3D: Live From The Hard Rock Casino - Las Vegas" on DVD and Blu-ray as of July 1.

The band was filmed on November 21, 2012 during their first residency in Las Vegas.

The package will feature the complete concert film in both 3D and 2D plus an interactive 3D photo gallery, and standard DVD featuring the 2D version of the film. Both releases are mixed in 5.1 Surround Sound and feature bonus interviews with the band.
