KISS to perform on American Idol season finale

KISS will perform on the Season 13 finale of American Idol next week, where they’ll be joined by finalist Caleb Johnson.

Johnson has been cranking out rock covers all season long, including tracks by Whitesnake, Rush and Led Zeppelin.

The two-part American Idol Season 13 sinale will air on Tuesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 21, starting at 8 p.m. on Fox.

KISS previously appeared on the reality singing competition during the 2009 season finale, where they were joined by Adam Lambert for a medley of “Detroit Rock City” and “Rock And Roll All Night.”

Last month, the original lineup of KISS were inducted into the 2014 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame at a ceremony in New York, alongside Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt, and The E Street Band.

HBO will broadcast the 29th annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony on May 31.

KISS and Def Leppard will launch a co-headlining summer tour of North America on June 23rd in West Valley City, Utah.
