Queen and Adam Lambert have announced dates for an Australian tour.
The pairing are bringing their “Once In A Lifetime” tour to the country for four shows starting August 22 in Perth.
The tour takes its title from a quote from Lambert when asked at the New York tour launch press conference his view of the opportunity to join Queen for their 24 date US tour, which kicks off in June.
Lambert replied: “I think the thing that’s special about this is that it is a limited thing. It’s this special engagement. It’s not like, ‘Now we’re to the grind.’ It’s a once-in-a-lifetime tour.”
The trek marks Queen’s first tour of Australia since 1985.
"Let's rock those beautiful arenas just one more time!” said guitarist Brian May.
Fan Club tickets and Official Packages will be on sale on Thursday 22nd May noon local time.
Tickets to the general public will go on sale on Wednesday, May 28 at 10am local time.
Queen and Lambert are gearing up to kick off their US tour in Chicago on June 19.
