VIDEO: Metallica prepare for 2nd annual Metallica Night at AT&T Park in San Francisco

Major League Baseball are sharing video of the members of Metallica taking batting practice at San Francisco’s AT&T Park in advance of the stadium’s second annual Metallica Night this Friday.

The band are teaming up again with the San Francisco Giants for the event, with partial proceeds from every ticket sold helping to benefit the Bay Area Chapter of Little Kids Rock.

At the first Metallica Night at AT&T Park last year, drummer Lars Ulrich threw out the ceremonial first pitch and guitarists James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett performed the National Anthem as part of the festivities.

Metallica will return to the road to bring their “By Request” concert series to Europe for shows starting May 28 at Sonisphere Finland in Helsinki, Finland.
