Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx is keeping fans updated on the band’s preparations for their upcoming farewell tour.

“Been in band rehearsal with the guys,” Sixx posted on Tuesday. “Lots of surprises…Worked up a new song we just wrote and recorded…Might bust that out live before we even go to radio with it.”

“Today is our last day of musical rehearsal's for Motley Crue then next weekend we have a one off festival in Montreal where we’re headlining,” he wrote on Wednesday. “Right after that the crew load's into pre production where we start running full show rehearsals for a week and then the Final Tour starts July 2 in Grand Rapids. Been busy and time is flying.”

After more than three decades together, Motley Crue’s “The Final Tour” will kick off July 2 in Grand Rapids, Michigan with guest Alice Cooper.

The band will release a new song, “All Bad Things Must Come To An End”, as part of a new greatest hits package that will surface in sync with the tour.
