Bob Seger announces new album Ride Out

Bob Seger will release his new album, "Ride Out", on October 14th.

Produced by the Detroit rocker, it’s his first studio album in 8 years, since 2006’s “Face The Promise.”

“I feel really good about this record,” says Seger. “This album touches on how I think a lot of us feel about finding our place in a more complicated world – from how we appreciate things as simple and pure as love, to navigating through the corruption and violence that permeates the news. It sums up a lot of feelings I have about a variety of subjects.”

Seger began teasing tracks from the album during his 2013 tour, including “All Of The Roads”, “California Stars” and the newly-released lead single, a cover of John Hiatt’s “Detroit Made.”

Hiatt originally released the song on his 2011 album “Dirty Jeans And Mudslide Hymns.”
