KISS to expand 40th anniversary tour

KISS just wrapped up their summer dates with Def Leppard and are already planning to expand their 40th Anniversary tour across the world.

“Leg 1 of the KISS Def Lep Tour is over and ended spectacularly in Houston with a record, sold out concert,” posted bassist Gene Simmons. “Thanks to our road crew for making it all possible. They break their backs every day to put on a show for the fans.”

“But it ain't over,” he added. “We're just beginning. Europe. South America. Japan. Australia. SE Asia. Israel, and more. We have just begun to rock...”

The group will host their first Las Vegas residency this fall.

“KISS Rocks Vegas” will see the band play 9 shows at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino between November 5th and 23rd.

Simmons co-founded KISS in January of 1973 with guitarist Paul Stanley from the ashes of the pair’s previous band, Wicked Lester.
