Motley Crue reveal location of final farewell concert

Motley Crue singer Vince Neil has revealed the location of the band’s final concert of their 2-year farewell tour.

“Rumor has it, the last few shows are going to be Vegas and LA, because we wanted to end in 2016 in Los Angeles where we started,” Neil tells the Las Vegas Weekly.

The tentative plan, according to Neil, is for the Crüe to play a “couple of nights” in Las Vegas at the tail end of 2015 before returning home to Los Angeles.

“After New Year’s, we’ll do three nights at one of the arenas in LA,” said Neil. “And then do a special show at the Whiskey a Go Go on our 35th anniversary.”

The iconic venue on the Sunset Strip was where the band got its start in 1981.

Neil also revealed that Motley Crue would tour Europe and revisit the U.S. again next year before the final stretch of dates in early 2016.

The group recently wrapped up the first leg of their farewell tour; they return to action October 10 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with the second leg of North American dates set to wrap up November 22 in Spokane, Washington.
