Metallica to perform at The Concert For Valor

Metallica are among the artists confirmed to perform at The Concert For Valor, a first-of-its-kind event to honor America's veterans and their families.

The live three-hour concert on Veterans Day will include a wide variety of diverse artists including Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Dave Grohl, Rihanna, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx and Carrie Underwood, among others.

In addition to honoring veterans, the concert will serve as a fundraising event supporting a number of veterans’ service organizations assisting servicemen and women with employment, education opportunities, health and wellness and integration back into civilian life.

“We’re excited to play for those who have given so much of themselves for others as the night shines the spotlight on the more than 20 million American veterans who have served,” said Metallica.

The Concert For Valor will be broadcast live on HBO from the National Mall in Washington, D.C on Tuesday, November 11 at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT.

The event will air on all HBO channels with an open signal allowing non-subscribers to view this unique event.
