VIDEO: Alice Cooper plays surprise set at Nashville bar

Alice Cooper played a surprise set at a Nashville bar on Wednesday following his opening gig with Motley Crue in the city as part of that band’s farewell tour.

Cooper tipped fans off to the impromptu show via Twitter, writing “If you're looking for more rock after the #motleycrue #AliceCooper show in #nashville head over to Dan McGuinness and rock with my band!”.

The rocker and his crew ripped through a set of classic rock covers at Dan McGuinness, just off Music Row.

Fan-filmed video from the event features “Break On Through” by The Doors, The Beatles“Revolution”, Jimi Hendrix’ “Foxy Lady”, The Who’s “My Generation” and Alice’s 1972 signature song, “School’s Out.”

Many of the classic rock tracks are expected to appear on a covers album from Cooper, due sometime next year.
