VIDEO: Foo Fighters and Heart team up to rock Letterman

The Foo Fighters were joined by Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart for a performance of their 1977 classic, “Kick It Out”, on The Late Show with David Letterman Tuesday.

The second night of the Foos week-long residency followed Monday’s pairing with Zac Brown to play Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” (see it here).

The Foo Fighters are on hand to promote the October 17 premiere of the 8-part HBO series, “Sonic Highways”, which chronicles the making of the band’s forthcoming album of the same name, out November 10.

The group recorded the project in eight American cities – Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
