AUDIO: Foo Fighters premiere new song Outside



The Foo Fighters are premiering “Outside” as the fourth track issued from their forthcoming album, “Sonic Highways”, due November 10.

The band recorded a performance of the track at London’s Maida Vale Studios for the BBC while in town in September for a series of UK club shows and to headline the closing concert of the Invictus Games.

The BBC aired the new track on Radio 1′s Zane Lowe show on Thursday.

The album version of “Outside” features Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh and was written and recorded in Joshua Tree, California.

“Sonic Highways” was recorded in eight American cities – Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

The Foos are unveiling new tunes eack week in sync with their 8-part HBO series of the same name, which premiered October 17.

“Outside” follows the project’s lead single, “Something From Nothing” (recorded in Chicago), “The Feast And The Famine” (recorded in Washington), and “Congregation” (recorded in Nashville).
