Jimmy Page to guest on Late Show with David Letterman

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page will be a featured guest on The Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday, November 6.

The rocker will be on hand to promote the latest Zeppelin reissues, “Led Zeppelin IV” and “Houses Of The Holy”, as well as the re-release of his photographic autobiography, “Jimmy Page By Jimmy Page.”

The book sold-out of its limited-edition run of 2,500 copies upon its initial release in 2010, becoming the fastest-selling book in Genesis Publications' 40-year history.

Page will participate in a pair of events in New York ahead of his Late Show appearance.

The guitarist will be the featured interview guest for “Jimmy Page In Conversation”, at the Kaufmann Concert Hall on November 3 at 7:30 PM.

The event is sold-out, but you can read up on it here.

Page will then host an in-store book signing at the Union Square Barnes & Noble on East 17th Street on November 5 at 7:00PM.

More details are available here.

With incredible attention to detail, the guitarist has chosen photographs representing the most significant moments in his career: from a schoolboy with a rock-a-billy quiff through his extensive work as a session musician; from The Yardbirds through Led Zeppelin, ARMS, The Firm, Outrider, Coverdale & Page and Page & Plant; playing with Roy Harper and The Black Crowes; collaborating with P. Diddy and performing with Leona Lewis at the closing ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Page has officially put pen to paper about his career in this expansive edition. His words take the form of extended captions, which describe and document pivotal moments and events. He has also included visas, photos and stamps from his own passports.

"I've been asked on a number of occasions to do a written book and I thought of the other side of the coin," said Page. "I thought it would be unique to have an autobiography in photographs, charting my whole musical journey."
