The Clark County Commission has declared Friday, November 7 as “KISS Rocks Vegas Day” in the city in honor of the band’s 9-show residency at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

“What happens in Vegas will not stay in Vegas, not if we have anything to do with it,” said bassist Gene Simmons when the residency was announced in July. “We intend to blow the roof off the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.”

The series kicked off on November 5 – check out video from opening night here.

“KISS Rocks Vegas” runs to November 23.

The group have just released an expanded, deluxe edition of their 1977 album, “Love Gun.”

The 2CD / digital edition includes the complete original album re-mastered on the first disc, while the second features previously unreleased demos of “Plaster Caster”, “Then She Kissed Me”, “Tomorrow And Tonight” and “Much Too Soon”.
