U2 announce 2015 arena tour

U2 have announced an arena tour for 2015.

The “Innocence & Experience” tour will see the band playing indoor arenas for the first time in a decade as they hit the road in support of their latest album, “Songs Of Innocence.”

U2 will play multiple shows in 19 cities worldwide next year, starting May 14 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

“We are going to try to have a completely different feeling from night one to night two,” said Bono, “and have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience. More to be revealed!”

Tickets for all shows go on general sale Monday, December 8, with presales to paid U2.com subscribers beginning Thursday, December 4.

Bono continues to recover from injuries he sustained in a bicycle accident in New York’s Central Park on November 16. The singer remains under doctors' orders to refrain from performing until he has fully recuperated.
