AC/DC music featured in new Beats By Dre ads

The AC/DC single, "Play Ball", is featured in two new commercials for Beats By Dre headphones from Beats Electronics.

The ads – which feature NFL players - made their debut during Saturday's NFL playoff game between the Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers.

"Athletes have a job to do. Talk from the outside is a distraction, but it can also serve as motivation. Watch the Beats film, Hear What You Want 2015, and see how today's football stars use the Beats Studio Wireless to tune out the talk and focus on their performance to get the job done. Featuring Richard Sherman and Von Miller."

“Play Ball” is the lead single from “Rock Or Bust”, AC/DC’s first album in 6 years.

Last week it announced the band will headline the 2015 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival this spring.

It’s the first scheduled live show of the year for AC/DC, who will launch a European tour May 5 in Arnhem, Netherlands.

The concerts will feature new addition Stevie Young, nephew of guitarist Angus Young and retired AC/DC founder Malcolm Young.
