Ace Frehley announces European tour

Ace Frehley has announded dates for a summer tour of Europe in support of “Space Invader.”

The 2-week, 9-show run includes a mix of festival dates and headline shows, starting June 6 with an appearance at the Sweden Rock Festival.

The European trek follows an April/May tour of Australia and New Zealand by the original KISS guitarist, marking his first Australian shows since 2010 and his first-ever New Zealand solo dates.

Frehley is touring with guitarist Richie Scarlett, bassist Chris Wyse and drummer Scot Coogan.

The guitarist released his first new album in five years, “Space Invader”, in August; the project scored him a US Top 10 debut, entering the Billboard 200 at No. 9 with opening-week sales of 19,000.

Last year, Frehley and the original lineup of KISS were inducted into the 2014 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame at a ceremony in New York, alongside Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt, and The E Street Band.
