Asia are sharing footage of “Face On The Bridge” as a preview to their forthcoming package, “Axis XXX Live in San Francisco MMXII.”
Due June 19 in Europe (June 23 in North America), the 2CD/DVD and Blu-ray set presents the band in concert at the San Francisco Regency Ballroom in the fall of 2012 as part of their tour in support of the “XXX” album and originally broadcast by AXS TV.
The release features one of the very last shows featuring the original line up, with Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer and John Wetton performing material from their catalog alongside more recent music.
Howe left the group in January of 2013 to return to Yes and solo projects; new guitarist Sam Coulson followed soon after and appeared on the band’s 2014 album, “Gravitas.”
