The Who: Live At Leeds 45th anniversary featured on In The Studio

The 45th anniversary of The Who’s 1970 album, “Live At Leeds”, is featured on the latest edition of North American rock radio series In The Studio.

Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey join host Redbeard to discuss the powerful and legendary release alongside archival comments from late bassist John Entwistle.

The Who were recorded during their 1970 tour at the University of Leeds for what many critics have called the greatest live recording of all time.

Upon its original release, the album hit No. 3 on the UK charts and No. 4 on the UB Billboard charts, with the single, “Summertime Blues” hitting No. 27 on the US Billboard singles chart.

The Who are currently playing shows across North America on their farewell tour, “The Who Hits 50!”
