Yes announce 2016 UK tour

Yes have announced dates for a spring 2016 UK tour.

The 3-week, 9-show run starts April 27 in Glasgow and wraps on May 10 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Yes have also revealed three European shows beyond the UK tour, with concerts in France, Belgium and Italy on the schedule.

The 2016 spring dates will see Yes perform 1971’s “Fragile” and 1980’s “Drama” albums in their entirety.

“This is the first time we’ll be performing Drama in its entirety,” says guitarist Steve Howe. “Most of the songs haven’t been performed in some 30 years.”

“Drama’s a great album,” adds drummer Alan White. “We decided it’s long past due to bring its life and energy back to the forefront. We think the fans will love hearing Fragile and Drama in their entirety, and we certainly look forward to performing them.”

Yes bassist Chris Squire is currently undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with Acute Erythroid Leukemia (AEL), an uncommon form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

Squire will receive treatment in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona over the next few months.

Yes alumnus Billy Sherwood will step in for Squire on the band’s previously scheduled summer tour of North America with Toto and will perform on the Cruise To The Edge event in November.
