VIDEO: Foo Fighters perform Led Zeppelin classic with Jewel

The Foo Fighters were joined by Jewel for Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” in Phoeniz, AZ on Friday.

“We thought we should do a song together,” said Dave Grohl as he welcomed the singer to the stage, “so we picked some nice things that we thought would sound good. And then she says to me, ‘I don’t wanna do that.’ She says, ‘I wanna do this’”, as Grohl launched into the song’s classic opening riff.

“Thanks @foofightersdave,” posted Jewel. “Had fun w the @foofighters tonight doing Whole Lotta Love - even if we didn't have a chance to rehearse.”

Guests are becoming a regular part of the Foos North American tour in support of 2014’s “Sonic Highways.”

Most recently, the band were joined by Yes singer Jon Davison for a cover of the Rush classic, “Tom Sawyer”, in Anaheim, CA on September 19, while Stevie Nicks and HAIM joined them for a pair of classic tracks at The Forum in Los Angeles on September 21.

The Foos North American run wraps up in Castaic, CA on October 18 and then they’ll start a 2-week European swing in Amsterdam on November 5.
