Wolfmother have announced dates for a European tour in support of their upcoming album “Victorious.”
Due February 19 and produced by Brendan O’Brien, the project sees sole original member vocalist/guitarist Andrew Stockdale record the band’s fourth record and follow-up to 2014’s “New Crown.”
“We wanted to get back to that big sound,” says Stockdale. “The album is a balance of garage-y energy and big production. It’s wild, energetic and perfect for a festival main stage.”
The 5-week Gypsy Caravan tour opens in Dublin on April 8 with shows schedule to wrap up in Bilboa, Spain on May 14.
Tickets for all shows go on sale January 22.
The European dates come on the heels of a North American tour to launch the album.
Wolfmother recently premiered the single “Gypsy Caravan” following previews of “City Lights” and the title track.
