Motorhead: Lemmy action figure to be reissued

An action figure of Motorhead legend Lemmy Kilmister will be reissued by toy maker Loco Ape this July as a tribute to the late rocker.

Originally issued in 2008 as the first piece in the company’s Icon Figure Series, the 6-inch tall Lemmy comes complete with strap accessories, a microphone and stand, a figural base, a Motorhead logo plate, and 1 of 4 different Rickenbacker replica bass guitar variations featuring real strings.

Kilmister passed away at his Los Angeles home on December 28, just four days after his 70th birthday.

The legendary rocker’s death certificate listed prostate cancer, cardiac arrhythmia and congestive heart failure as the official causes of death.

Alice Cooper’s Hollywood Vampires will pay tribute to Kilmister at the Grammy Awards on Monday.

The band – which also includes Johnny Depp and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry – will perform a Motorhead classic as part of a two-song set that will also see the premiere of "As Bad as I Am", one of three bonus tracks featured on the upcoming deluxe edition of Hollywood Vampires’ 2015 self-titled debut that’s due February 12.
