VIDEO: Ghost win Swedish Grammis Award for Meliora

Ghost won a Grammis Award for their third album, “Meliora”, in their native Sweden on Wednesday.

The band were honored in the "Best Hard Rock/Metal Album" category at the event held at Cirkus in Stockholm, ahead of projects by Backyard Babies (“Four By Four”), Graveyard (“Innocence & Decadence”), Refused (“Freedom”) and Tribulation (“Children Of The Night”).

Ghost were on hand to perform the track “He Is” from the record and to accept their honor.

The Grammis win comes on the heels of the group picking up their first Grammy Award in the Best Metal performance category for “Cirice”, the lead single from “Meliora”, last week in Los Angeles.

Ghost are currently playing shows across Europe and will begin a spring tour of the US in Montclair, NJ on April 13.
