Axl Rose and AC/DC add date to European tour

Axl Rose and AC/DC have extended their European tour with a newly-announced show in Dusseldorf, Germany on June 15.

The concert at the city’s multi-functional football stadium Esprit Arena adds a 13th date to the spring run which features Rose stepping in to handle vocals in the absence of longtime member Brian Johnson.

The Dusseldorf show will mark the third German date of the tour following upcoming gigs in Hamburg on May 26 and a June 1 appearance in Leipzig.

Tickets for the June 15 Dusseldorf concert are on sale now via eventim.de

AC/DC launched the spring tour with Rose in Lisbon, Portugal on May 7 to rave reviews worldwide.

With Rose, the Australian rockers have managed to extend their Rock Or Bust setlist from 20 to 24 songs with the rotation of new additions representing classic tracks from Bon Scott-era: “Dog Eat Dog” from 1977’s “Let There Be Rock”, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Damnation” and “Riff Raff” from 1978’s “Powerage”, and “If You Want Want Blood (You’ve Got It)” and “Touch Too Much” from 1979’s “Highway To Hell.”

A little over a week after he wraps up the spring dates with AC/DC, Rose will rejoin Guns N’ Roses for their summer stadium tour of North America that begins at Ford Field in Detroit, MI on June 23.
