Red Hot Chili Peppers premiere Go Robot video

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are premiering a video for “Go Robot”, the latest single from “The Getaway.”

Directed by Thoranna Sigurdardottir and filmed over two days in Brooklyn, New York, the clip was inspired by and recreates classic scenes from "Saturday Night Fever" and features the exact same locations used in the film.

Dancer and performer Stephanie Crousillat makes a cameo alongside frontman Anthony Kiedis, who appears as a nude man wearing a codpiece and a bowler hat and coated in white paint as he walks the city streets before entering a packed club.

“The Getaway” debuted at No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 in June with opening week sales of 118,000 equivalent album units (108,000 in traditional album sales).

Produced by Danger Mouse, the record marks the Los Angeles group’s first album in five years.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently playing shows across Europe.
