SixxAM announce Prayers For The Blessed album release

Sixx:A.M. will release “Prayers For The Blessed” on November 18.

The project is the second volume and companion to “Prayers For The Damned”, the current album by the trio of vocalist James Michael, bassist Nikki Sixx and guitarist DJ Ashba.

The band recorded both projects side by side and gave fans the heads up earlier this year that a lot of new music was headed their way.

“Sixx:A.M. is in the most creative place of our careers,” said Sixx. “For James, DJ and myself, we think it’s the perfect time to release so much quality music to our fans who’ve been supporting us over the last 3 albums.”

"Between this album and Vol. 2,” added Michael at the time, “we'll leave no stone unturned in our quest to create important music and push the boundaries of rock."

Sixx:A.M. are previewing “Prayers For The Blessed” with a video featuring audio clips of some of the new tunes.

“Prayers For The Damned, Vol. 1” debuted on the US Billboard 200 at No. 19 this past spring.

Sixx:AM will launch an extensive series of Canadian dates starting September 9 in Abbotsford, BC, with a fall US tour set to begin in Little Rock, AK on October 18.
