Green Day release Ordinary World lyric video

Green Day have issued a lyric video for “Ordinary World”, a track from their newly-released album, “Revolution Radio.”

The song is also the title of a new film starring frontman Billie Joe Armstrong in his first leading role as an actor. The singer plays an aging rocker whose band is ten years into an ‘indefinite hiatus’ as he marks his 40th birthday.

The film also stars Selma Blair, Judy Greer and Fred Armisen, among others.

Following its premiere earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival, Ordinary World will hit theaters, On-Demand and Digital HD on October 14.

Green Day are currently playing dates on the Revolution Radio North American club tour designed to support the record’s launch.

The band will begin a European tour in January before kicking off an arena run across North America in Phoenix, AZ on March 1 with guests Against Me!

Tickets for the 2017 spring shows will go on sale October 14 at 10:00 AM local time.
