Black Star Riders release Dancing With The Wrong Girl video

Black Star Riders have issued a video for “Dancing With The Wrong Girl”, the latest single from their third album, “Heavy Fire.”

Directed by Louis Catlett, the clip was filmed in East London's neon-clad Gods Own Junkyard.

"The greatest lie we can endure is from our own denial,” explains frontman Ricky Warwick about the song, “sometimes two wrongs can make it alright."

“Dancing With The Wrong Girl” is the third single from “Heavy Fire” and follows the lead-off tune, “When The Night Comes In”, and “Testify Or Say Goodbye.”

Black Star Riders launched the album with a spring UK tour, following which they announced the amicable departure of drummer Jimmy DeGrasso.

“In a mutual decision, Black Star Riders and drummer Jimmy DeGrasso have decided to part ways,” said the group via social media. “The band wish him well in his future endeavours and thank him for the great albums, killer shows and good times together. The new drummer will be announced shortly.”

DeGrasso – who has worked with Y&T, Alice Cooper, Megadeth and David Lee Roth, among others – joined Black Star Riders in 2012 after they finished touring as Thin Lizzy and prepared to relaunch under a new name.

The rocker recently played shows with the reformed Ratt lineup in place of former member Bobby Blotzer, and his status with the group moving forward remains unknown at this time.

Black Star Riders will launch a summer European tour in Dusseldorf, Germany on May 24.
