VIDEO: Royal Blood premiere new single Lights Out

UK rockers Royal Blood are premiering a video for “Lights Out”, the lead single from their forthcoming second album, “How Did We Get So Dark?”

The band are also sharing the cover artwork and track list for the highly-anticipated set, which follows their 2014 self-titled debut - one that had the distinction of entering the UK charts at No. 1 on its way to becoming the fastest-selling British rock debut album in their native country in three years.

Due June 16, the duo of bassist/singer Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher wrote the initial instrumentals for songs on the project during sessions in their hometown of Brighton, UK and in Los Angeles and Nashville.

Last November, the pair headed to Brussels, Belgium to begin recording with producer Joylon Thomas before wrapping things up with co-producer Tom Dalgety in London.

The band will begin their 2017 live schedule opening for Guns N’ Roses at Slane Castle in Dublin, Ireland on May 27 before spending the summer playing festival dates – including The Governors Ball in New York, Bonnaroo in Tennessee, and The UK’s Eden Project and Glastonbury in June.
